Who can resist a good apple crisp?! Luckily now you don't have to, with this gluten-free sugar-free version.

Ingredients:

Instructions: Quinoa Streusel

  • To a large bowl, add the almond flour, quinoa, date sugar and pecans and mix until evenly distributed.

  • Then add the butter and continue to mix until course texture has formed.

  • Set aside.

Instructions: Apple crisp

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease 9 x 9 in baking tray.

  • In a large bowl, toss together the apple slices, date sugar, crystallized ginger, vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt, until apple slices are evenly coated.

  • Next, place the apple mixture in prepared pan.

  • Sprinkle the quinoa streusel mixture in an even layer over the apples.

  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until streusel is golden brown.

  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.

  • Serve and enjoy!
