DIY Summer Insect Repellent Spray

Several essential oil combinations exist that will repel bugs and insects effectively, without the added inconvenience of harmful and even toxic ingredients. Interestingly, some of these oils and blends may be more effective for some people than others since our body and biochemistry impact what blends work for us and which ones do not. The area in which you find yourself, as well as the bugs and insects commonly found there, will also play a role.

So, if your first attempt at a DIY Insect Repellent Spray does not seem very effective, try mixing in a different blend next time. Remember to reapply the repellent every 1-2 hours for optimal effectiveness.
