What’s Inside:
Inositol is created by the body and found in many food
sources, including meats. It is heavily involved with brain cell communications, and has been shown to help maintain balanced brain chemistry, including serotonin and dopamine levels. For dogs who exhibit repetitive pacing, panting, or hiding during storms, or who have fears of being left at home alone, inositol may reduce the intensity of their anxiousness and reactivity.
Taurine is an amino acid that is critical for healthy nerve and brain cell activity. It can help calm your dog during times of stress and helps support glutathione levels, a crucial antioxidant. In older dogs showing signs of restlessness, taurine may help reduce those tendencies.
Lemon Balm Leaf Extract has been shown in scientific research to support healthy gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) levels, reducing those “gut level” reactions to stressors that affect canines much
the same way as they affect humans.
Thiamine, also known as vitamin B1, is an essential vitamin for your dog (as it is for us) that could easily be lacking in the diet. If your dog is a picky eater they may not be getting enough thiamine from food, so supplementing can provide strong support for your dog’s emotional balance, mood, activity levels and motor skills.
Theanine, sometimes called “L-theanine”, is an amino acid which has been shown to support a calm state of mind in humans and canines alike. Like inositol, theanine can also support healthy serotonin and dopamine levels, natural neurotransmitters that can help keep mental states on an even keel.
